On November 3, 2018, the Government of Japan announced the foreign recipients of the 2018 Autumn Conferment of Decorations. Ms. Sadia Rashid, President of Pakistan Japan Culture Association (PJCA) and Chancellor of Hamdard University, received The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon, in recognition of her dedicated contributions for promoting mutual understanding and cultural relations between Japan and Pakistan.
